Research

I study how to best support the mental health needs of youth in schools and communities. My work seeks to amplify the voices of historically marginalized youth and families, including youth of color and immigrant youth. I have published over 65 peer-reviewed articles, 15 chapters, and two treatment manuals related to topics including treatment of depression and anxiety in youth, school mental health, and culturally-tailored treatments. I am the Associate Editor for the journal School Mental Health and a Consulting Editor for School Psychology Review. See below for some examples of my work.
